FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How reliable is the NIS2 check?
It gives you a first orientation based on sector, size and customers. The exact classification depends on details, such as how your activity is assigned to a sector and on linked enterprises. We check these in the intro call.
What happens to my answers?
Nothing. The check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is stored or transmitted to us.
From what size does NIS2 apply?
Usually from a medium-sized enterprise, meaning from 50 employees or from more than €10 million in annual turnover and balance sheet total, provided the company operates in one of the sectors covered. For some entities, NIS2 applies regardless of size.
What do I have to do if I am affected?
You must register with the BSI, implement risk management measures and report significant security incidents. Management must approve and oversee the measures. A review of your current state shows where to start.
Does NIS2 also affect suppliers?
Indirectly, yes. Affected companies must take the security of their supply chain into account and therefore often ask their suppliers for evidence.
